Case Study: Major Remodel II

The Brief

This remodel began with the homeowners desire to create a whole new look without having to buy a whole new house. Remodeling the existing home enabled the couple to keep a few areas of the home they liked;and modify the rest into a southwestern dream home.

Our Solution

In the front of the home, a block wall was built creating a private courtyard. A new southwestern style gate and light fixtures were also installed.

Next, the existing garage was converted into a living room and a new unattached garage with driveway built next to the home.

In the back of the home the master bedroom was extended and a new patio roof cover was built.

As part of the exterior remodel, the entire house received a new roof, stucco and paint. This brightened the home’s appearance and completed the new southwestern style.

Inside the home, the new family room and master bedroom extension created more space for the homeowners.

The kitchen received all new cabinetry, granite countertops, tile and paint.

A new laundry with mud room was also added off the kitchen area to make it easy for the homeowners to clean up after tending to their horses.

After the master bedroom was extended, a whole new master bathroom was created. The master bathroom is complete with a new jaccuzzi tub, tile and glass shower area, toilet closet, walk-in-closets and glass block wall. The master bedroom also received new french doors to let a lot more light in. As a result this area of the home is more spacious and luxurious.

To complete the interior remodel, new tile, carpet, windows and doors were installed throughout the house.
