Built in the late 1970s, this standard L-shaped home in Fountain of the Sun was showing its age, outdated in style and limited in space. Transforming the home to a newer look and design, and creating additional living space, demanded a complete, “whole-house” renovation.
In planning this total renovation, A-P Builder redesigned the entire look and layout of this house while working closely with the owners of the home. An addition was built onto the home to create a larger dining room. Then, a wall was removed between two existing bedrooms to form a large master suite. The entire kitchen area was also remodeled with new cabinets, countertops and flooring. The living room was converted into a guest suite with separate entrance and patio. Outside, a patio addition now extends the length of the home. The back patio exterior was redesigned including new stucco and paint. Next, the roof was converted from shingle to tile. A total transformation inside and out, top to bottom was the ending result of this “whole house remodel”.
“Completely rebuilding a home is a huge job, but the crews were always there on time, getting it done. It looks wonderful, and everyone who goes by the house just says ‘Wow.’ And when they ask who did the work, I am proud to say ‘A-P Builder.’” Mary – Fountain of the Sun
